Can we get an Improved carpenter's bench

Improved carpenter’s bench would really be helpful in processing materials and saving space inside my base.

We don’t know when, but back in late September, it was revealed during the Q and A stream that crafting stations as a whole were going to get an update. Said update purpose is exactly what you desire, to take up less space in the base, require less stations, etc. Here are the notes, and the time stamp link, of what I wrote back then.

  • Current crafting setups are like factories (think 20 furnaces lined up, or 200 honey things), Oscar wants to change that (1:10:03):
    • They want to make it so you can make things in bulk, or bundles.
    • They want to make it so crafting machines themselves will level up, or improve and thus become more efficient.
      • This will be a visual change too.
      • By level up, they mean in tiers, with the higher tiers being more “expensive” and more valuable
        • Multigun’ Note: Maybe something like how Religious buildings work now?
    • This of course could and probably will alter the dynamics of how player base layouts are realized
