Cannot connect to Servers

I have been playing on a server for months, now I cannot connect to it at all. I keep getting a pending connection failure or authorization failure. I have made sure the game, steam, my drivers are all up to date. Tried multiple fixes I found online but none of it has worked. I have tried other servers and cannot connect.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Load Game
  2. Try to connect to a server
  3. Get error
  4. Try again

Could you let us know your State and ISP?
Also, could you try a quick test to discard some possibilities? Could you try loading up a VPN (any will do for this test) and see if you can connect to our servers?

I’m in Canada ISP is Shaw Communications.

I attempted loading a VPN and still couldn’t get through.

I’m in Alberta in Canada, my ISP is Shaw Communications.

Setting up a VPN didn’t work. Sorry, I was able to connect to a different server but not the one I usually play on.

Hello. Similarly died server 1320. Does not go to him. Server 1321 became strongly lag. These are Russian servers

@madillness the mentioned private server seems to be running and accepting connections from what we could see on our end, did you ensure your mods are all correctly updated or even try a full reinstall?

We’d recommend reaching out to its administration to determine what’s being logged on your connection attempts and whether they could help by booting/killing/removing your character.

A proposed solution from another user states that certain issues with connection to private servers may be related to Steam itself, you may attempt this beforehand:

On Steam, navigate to the top left corner and click on “Steam” and then go to “Settings”, then while in the “Settings” menu, go down to “In-Game” and at the very bottom there should be a thing that reads “In-Game server browser: Max pings / minute” with a drop box underneath it. Click on the drop box and change the setting from “5000” to “500” and then click on okay.

I have had them remove my character, I have re-installed the game multiple times, I have verified the mods multiple times, and I have changed the settings in steam. The admins have suggested all those fixes before. Is there anything else that could be blocking me from connecting? I tried contacting Steam about because I thought it might be an issue on their end but they just told me to contact you.

I appreciate the help and ideas.
