Can't Cook in Fire Pit when starting a new game since hotfix 07.09.2019

Since the latest patch of 07.09.2019, I am unable to cook in the fire pit when starting a new game. I have put the points into the Feat, can build the fire pit, can burn wood in the fire pit, but cannot cook in the fire pit. Prior to the patch there was no issue. This does not affect my Multi-player PVP server game where my character was already past this point.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Start a new game
  2. Progress through levels until points and level allows for the cooking with a fire pit Feat
  3. Build a fire pit
  4. Hunt and attempt to cook the gathered meat

Could you list the mods being used, if any? And if you are using mods, have you tried without them activated when starting a new game?

No mods

Scratching my head here. Issue has self corrected without a hotfix?? Don’t understand why but I won’t look for a gift-horse in the mouth, as the saying goes. I will keep an eye on this to see if it returns.
