Just as a test can you invite him or her into your co-op game? Have not played co-op in years myself. Welcome to the Forum @LoneAlphaCZ

I am going to assume you both can get into online games witch would rule out internet connection. I on ps5 on Xbox I guess you go into co-op and invite your friend. Really wish I could give useful information. There are plenty of Xbox players on Forum surly someone can help you goodies luck
