I found the solution as I had this problem. It’s an issue with the Steam Overlay not turned on for Conan Exiles (or possibly other games).
Someone explained it here but gives a hint but it’s disabled in Steam Settings then it won’t work for your games. Conan Exiles :: Steam Community
Here is what you need to do to get it to work.
- This is for Steam Overlay turned off for Conan Exiles or other games.
- Go to Steam Client/Settings, if it’s grayed out, turn off family view.
- Go to “In Game” and turn on “Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game ”.
- Right click on Conan Exiles in Steam Library and click on Properties to verify the Steam Overlay is on or not in General.
- Click play on Conan Exiles and choose Launch to load the Conan Exiles Launcher.
- In the bottom right click on “Link Twitch Account”.
- The Link Twitch Account pop-up displays.
- Click on Open Twitch Settings Webpage. A Steam Browser Overlay loads up the Twitch.com webpage where you need to authenticate with your Twitch credentials.
- Login with Twitch account and it should say something like Link or Authorize Conan Exiles/Funcom to your Twitch account.
- You may need to go back to step 5 to re-do the authorize part if it doesn’t come up after the login.
- When you link the Conan Exiles/Funcom account to Twitch the Steam Browser Overlay should say “Twitch Account Linked Successfully”.
- When you go to your Twitch you should see a “Conan Exiles Account Link” in “Other Connections” at the bottom.
- Go to Twitch if you click on one of the Conan Exiles drops, you should see a Connect button, click on it, leave the webpage that loaded up, go back to Twitch Drops Inventory. There should be a “Refresh” logo next to Connect. It should refresh and then the Conan Exiles/Funcom is linked to your Twitch and you will get your drop.
