Hello.
For what reason does the twitch account in the game not get disconnected?
Situation: I had a twitch account linked, but I created a new account on twitch. I watched the streams on a new account, not on a linked one.
Reconnecting does not help. Even if I untie both accounts from the game, the game tells me that the binding exists!
For this reason, I can’t pick up the reward drops. There is a “Connect” button at the bottom of the awards, but the game does not allow this to be done.
My understanding is that you can only “link” one account. if you wish to link another, you most “unlink” the first to link the second. Additionally, you only gain the recipes that were claimed by the account that is currently linked. So if you have recipes claimed on multiple Twitch accounts, you will never have access to all your claimed recipes at the same time. For this reason, it would be wise to only claim rewards on one Twitch account. Linking can only be done from the game menu within Conan Exiles (not from Twitch). Hope this helps.
I read your instructions and tried to do as it is written.
All accounts were unlinked, but the game still wrote that the twitch account was linked.
I clicked on the link, I was redirected to my account (where the reward drops are ready).
I was redirected to the account bindings page, where steam is at the very top. I clicked “connect”.
I was redirected to the steam account connection permission page for twitch. I agreed.
The account is linked, the account ID has appeared.
I still can’t pick up the reward drops, there is a “connect” button under them, there is no “update” button. Everything is connected.
What am I missing?
p.s OK, when I click on the “connect” button, a page opens with the binding instructions, and only after that the “update” button appears if I return. But clicking on it, nothing happens
Did you do it from Conan Exiles in the game by linking it there?
I could be mistaken but Twitch did something on their end because I had a bunch of Connects for Battle.net and Xbox and I unlinked my account and re-linked no problem just now. When I click on the Connect button, a link will come up, I go back to Twitch Drops and click the refresh logo next to Connect, while the other page is loaded in the background. I think press refresh on the Twitch Drops website and the Connect disappears.
You may need to “Disconnect” if it already wasn’t for Conan Exiles in the Twitch Connections then repeat my steps. I couldn’t link it any other way than being in the game’s launcher menu with the Steam Overlay on.
