Can't make the server crashing stop (running our own dedicated server)

Game Mode: PvE C
Server Type: Windows, Dedicated (running our own, not GPortal)
Map: Exiled Lands
Server Name: Casual PvE-C, Limited PvP, New Players Welcome
Mods: NONE


Bug Description:

We’re trying to support the community here and run a high-pop server but today alone we’ve suffered through 10+ crashes. These crashes are unusual in that all players are booted from the server yet the server executable is still running. We can rejoin after 30 or so seconds. After being booted, the server suddenly shows the population go from 27/40 to 40/40. I’m seeing errors in the log I’ve never seen before. This gets spammed in the logs thousands of times:

And the most concerning:

Our server is a full on gaming rig with 32GB of memory and a Core i7. Resource usage is always low. I’m not sure what’s happening here and any feedback/recommendations would be greatly appreciated. This issue has only surfaced in the last few days.

I’m confused. Doesn’t Funcom have developers who write the Conan server executable who know what these error messages mean? It sounds like server issues are being outsourced to the community to troubleshoot. Also, you guys are adding new bugs into the server code which is causing server instability and massive amounts of log spam and not communicating about it. It’s making for a very frustrating experience for those of us who are trying to build a community for this game.

Hi Mayra, thanks for replying. We’re running on Exiled Lands so I’m not aware of any turtles on our server, but we’ll search around just in case.

Is there anyone on your team who knows what this is?

No one that I’ve spoken to has seen this and I can’t find any mention of this on the forums. Any information you can provide on this would be greatly appreciated.
