I have noticed since roughly around the same time of the parity patch, certain NPCs you can speak to will run off far from their usual path and then just casually walk back to their usual path.
Arcos used to do this, but since the post-Halloween patch he seems stuck in place trying to walk, he is stuck at roughly a one-person distance from the beam of wood sticking the furthest out from the destroyed boat near the bonfire.
Nunu is another NPC that does this, after speaking to him to learn the emote and religion from him, he will run down the slope leading to Shaman’s Rise, and go around the corner to the bunch of minable rock just at the base of Shaman’s rise, standing for a few seconds before sauntering back to the altar.
Once I find other NPCs I can speak to that have a predetermined walking route, I will see if they do the same, which would mean Conan doesn’t count since he is stationary.
Steps on how to reproduce issue:
- Approach Arcos
- Watch him to do the stuck man shuffle as you can talk to him
- Talk to Nunu
- Watch Nunu inexplicably run off after breaking from the dialogue.
