So, in the middle of playing the game, i had some server lag issues. Next thing i know while I’m waiting for the lag to catch up, I’m brought back to the character creation screen. So i exit the program all together and try to log in again only to find out my character has been erased all together. Now, I’ve got 440 into the game so far, and I’m hoping there is a way to fix this so i don’t lose everything.

I’m not a server admin, so I’m really only guessing, but maybe it’s a corrupted database? Is it private or official server? If private maybe the admin can help sort things out.

You don’t say whether private or offical server @Susan_The_Beef? If official, I suspect that the character is lost. Post-patch hotfix addressed that issue back then, but I don’t know if it still applies? If it does not apply, then I suspect you have lost everything and should possibly check out a server with a lower ping rate?
If private, and there is no way that the Admin will revert to a previous backup, then the Admin(s) can manually boost your character back to the level and ‘gift’ you at least the skills/mats and the like so you have less to go through recovering?

It’s an official server. i’m not holding out to much hope for character being restored, but not looking forward to the grind again. Either way, thank you for the reply. Guess its back to square one.
