I really hope that devs will add a LOT more emblem pictures before the update goes live. Currently theres only a handful, so the claim of a “unique” emblem is very questionable.
Please add plenty of images and make the wallpaints unlocked via battlepass also usable as emblems. That way we could have some truly unique emblems if we bought the older battlepasses.
I honestly don’t understand why we can’t use wall and floor sprays for emblems. They have a painted look. It would make sense.
I imagine they will come out with stuff like:
in the next couple of months, but a lot of it will be gated behind battlepass and bazar.
Funcom found something new they can sell, they will not let it go to waste.
They can add all that sure, but it would be good form to let us use the stuff from the EARLIER paid battlepasses.
Otherwise the emblems are going to be super ugly when everyone uses the same emblem. I thought the whole point was having unique emblems. I dont think most players will buy the Battlepasses, so they will use the free stuff.
And last I checked, you could count the emblems in the test client with fingers of one, at best two hands. There needs to be WAY more.
Are clan emblems actually unique? Meaning, if clan A creates emblem with choices A/B/C, can no other clan on the server create that emblem?
If not, that really should be a thing. I don’t play PvP (or even play on official/public servers), so it wouldn’t affect me in any way, but it really seems like that would add a lot to the community. It would allow clans to take trophies from the other clans.
There’s always ways to exploit things (someone making multiple single person clans to take all the emblems), but it’s not my job to figure that stuff out.

I wouldn’t doubt some trolls would do that. You already have people with the same names and similar clan names.
But if they unlock more emblem templates in the Bazaar or Battle Pass, their security would likely block any player that hasn’t unlocked that template from using the shield and possibly joining the clan.
Yeah, idk… seems pretty stupid.
If the emblem setter can use it, all get it
