Bug Description:
The ‘Storage Container: Metalworking’ does not seem to accept Composite Obsisdian. Could someone please tell me if this is intended or an error?? If it does happen to be an error, I would like to politely request that it be changed to permit us to put Composite Obsidian into it. It is solely used as a smithing item in the forge, it is also partially comprised of steel, and if is also currently the only type of ‘bar’ that the Metalworking container will not accept. I would plead for clarification, and then to either correct it or change it.
Bug Reproduction:
purchase the Storage: Metalworking item
craft composite obaidian bars
try to add them into the container with all other smithing/bar kind and realise we can’t
It’s true! I was so exited that my working bench would look different until i noticed that it was tier 1, not even tier 2 that’s useful. Then i placed my brand new metal working chest and i pressed give all. Still the composite obsidian wouldn’t go inside . It’s been months but it didn’t changed yet. I don’t know if it’s a bug or intentional but it’s wrong either way.
I know right! This is very frustrating is it not @stelagel. Much to my surprise I brought the Metalworking and Bloodstone Crystal storage chests as a bundle. They worked out to be very reasonably priced so I jumped on them. I do hope that whether unintended or otherwise that the team will change this to allow Composite Obsidian into the Metalworking chest.
I agree with you stelagel. Even if we were to consider the argument it is not ‘pure’ metal, then neither is hardened steel. Hardened steel is 50% black ice. The way I see it they are both comprised of metals, they are both used for smithing, and they are both in bar form, so they should both go in the Metalworking storage container.
