No console release on this funcom? I feel like I been smacked. I love conan exiles its one of my favorite games been playing since 2018 and this announcement happens, Im super excited but then to find out no consoles? I feel as us console players feel very disappointed and its not cool to do that to your console players.
As someone who has a PC, but who fell in love with the game on consoles. Yeah.
Huge disappointment and a slap in the face for console players everywhere. The game will essentially be put into maintenance mode for console players unless Funcom decides to release it.
Why was this decision made? Itâs baffling. Way to put a huge wet blanket on your announcement, Funcom.
To be honestâŠI think itâs a corporate retreat from consoles. DA has not released the console dates yet even though itâs been close to a year since and this on CE? Yeah Iâm feeling like they are just retreating from consoles altogether.
Honest question: which console gets what?
Can the PS4 even run enhanced?
What lifespan is left on the PS5? Will the PS6 be announced soon?
This is still in development according to their communet blogs, given that they initially mentioned console release a year after PC release, theyâre still on track for that.
They might also decide to release it alongside the new Dune movie later this year for increased engagement.
To be expected.
They made this big to do about parity back in the day. And we can see how reliable that was.
Consoles have always been second-class customers.
Even when they mentioned in their own live streamed that majority of players were on console. It is easy to observe this because in response to inquiries about quality of life improvements, there would frequently be notations of âthereâs a mod for thatâ.
This one wishes they were surprised. But this one is not and this one will not be and this one will continue to not spend on this game which is evidently being put out to pasture on the platform that this one pays on.
âConsoles will receive necessary updates to address critical bugs and will still have access to official UE4 servers and the Bazaar, but will not receive any new major content updates.â
In short, the game is done on consoles.
Dune: Awakening is coming to consoles later this year. They just posted a brief update about it in a reply to a user on Twitter/X. They are currently porting it over to the actual hardware and will be releasing more information in the coming months.
PS4 is outdated and slow hardware compared to what we have nowadays. I HIGHLY doubt they optimized for that.
Ps4 is the minority of ps consoles out there now.
Ok no console version I get it. But can we at least transfert all that weâve buyed then ? Or at least the bazar/battle content as we can get the complete edition for good prices.
This I hope, too. I have bought so much content on console. I want it on pc or they loose me as a player
yea same brother, I got all the dlc packs and most bazaar items. I really hope it comes to console.
I wonât be playing the game that has been put into maintenance mode. I donât even hope they will let us transfer our PS5 characters and Bazar/BP Items to Steam. FuŃk this shit. It sucks to be left behind.
yea, I love conans it will always be one of my favorite games but I hate that they treat us like second class citizens. Who knows though maybe it will eventually come to console. we can only hope.
and whatâs really damn annoying is that alot of the questioning if its coming to console whether its on their trailer on youtube, the short they posted or these forums, they choose to ignore us. Like I know they see the thousands of people asking and criticizing but they just plain out ignore us and I know they see it because they are responding to only positive feedback and mainly the bigger youtubers. so they are choosing to ignore us unless they canât speak on it because of some corporate bs but I doubt thats the case.
It might be the last nail in the coffin for dune on console, for many since this is their experience of Funcom. 
they did it to themselves.
And we should not even think of buying, in my opinion.
