Conan Exiles [PC](steam): Game continuously crashes, doesn't give crash report. Drivers are up to date and have reinstalled several times

Basic Info:

Platform: Steam
Issue Type: Crash
Game Mode: Online Private
Server Type: PvE-Conflict
Map: Exiled Lands
Server Name: =SERVER NAME=
Mods: None

Bug Description:

After 10 ish minutes of playing (time can vary), game crashes without crash reporter coming up/will just randomly stop and close. I have no mods installed and my drivers are up to date. I don’t have this issue on any other game. I have reinstalled twice, still facing issues. This is absolutely ruining the game for me, I cant go anywhere anymore because I crash in front of enemies and they attack my “Unconscious” body

Bug Reproduction:

Play game for longer than 10 minutes

You should check your client logs for clues and since you are playing on a private server, you can ask the admin whether they can temporarily disable logged out bodies remain in the world server setting.

I’ve got a buddy helping me look through the logs, nothing super helpful yet except for a few texture errors, when we figure it out I’ll update the post!

Here is the last few lines of my log, I’m not getting any errors or anything for the crash??? It says bug report upload completed but no crash handler UI appears on my end

Does the same thing happen in single player?

No, not that I’ve noticed
Could be server specific? But I’m the only one on the server running into the issue

It could be there is something built on the map that is causing your hardware issues, either at your base when you spawn in or nearby. Hard to nail it down without access to the database but my guess is, someone built something reaaaally big or memory intensive near you and your ram or video maxes out and dumps you. Might be instructive to watch your resources in task manager as you force it to happen.

There wouldnt happen to be multiple illusionists mirrors near where you spawn is there?

Another question: were there mods at one point?

Hmm, I’ll try it and post my findings… My specs are pretty solid and can run more demanding games, are there any game settings I can adjust to mitigate the crashing?

None that I’m aware of, I had mods for another server but i’ve uninstalled and deleted them. No illusionist mirrors that i’ve seen

Could try setting to lowest graphics and inching up. Might also see if you have a lint problem… although that might affect other games as well. The database can get quite large for servers as people build so if its massive structures causing a problem, other graphics intensive games might not be definitive.

This didn’t work either. Kept an eye on task manager and nothing was out of the ordinary until around exactly 15 minutes… my gpu usage drops to 0 and the game crashes. I started recording time and its always right at 15 minutes, regardless of whether I’m travelling past large player bases or staying put at my own base. 15 minutes is the only constant for repro-ing the issue
