I have already read through the server guide and FAQs, as well as several topics and have yet to come across anything that of any assistance. Hopefully I am not posting on the wrong board.
A friend of mine is trying to connect to a server that another friend of mine is currently hosting. Three of us, including the friend hosting, have no issues connecting to the server, so we suspect the issue has to be on his end somehow. The error he gets when attempting to direct connect(the server does not show up on the list until you have connected to it at least once for arcane reasons we have yet to figure out) is “Connection Timed Out: Server Not Found”. His modlist matches the server, and everything is up to date. His copy of CE is up to date. His internet is fine, he’s perfectly able to play other games. The server is not full, and he has typed in the password correctly. Has anybody encountered anything like this? Are there any known solutions?
I did a quick google search and have found some links for you, there is also a discord channel called Admins United that will more and likely have the solution to your problem.
