Bug Description:
Game continually crashes with the message “Fatal Error” or sometimes no message at all. Has happened consistently for the past week. Have done everything shy of uninstalling windows to solve this, including the following:
Scanned computer in case of virus. Thoroughly.
Deleted anti-virus.
Uninstalled and reinstalled the game 4 times.
Reinstalled BattleEye multiple times.
Played without BattleEye.
Tweaked the firewall.
Gone through every mod in the modlist to see if they’re updated or causing others issues.
Started games with the modlist.
Started games without the modlist. (No mods!)
Cleared caches for the game and other services.
Updated drivers throughout the computer.
Updated windows with optional and non-optional updates to the very latest.
Updated NVIDIA GPU driver.
Reinstalled GPU drivers.
Restarted the computer. MULTIPLE TIMES.
Tweaked startup programs to lessen load on active background tasks.
Even went so far as to troubleshoot discord in case it caused conflicts.
Ran tests on the hardware to find faults. None found. (Yes, including checks on power supply!)
Strongly feel this problem MIGHT be Funcom related.
NOTHING so far has worked. Hoping for some pretty immediate assistance!

Yep, same issue since the Chapter 3 update. Fatal Error random SuperStruct message.
Edit: Just got mine to work. It ended up being a mod load order related issue. Deleting the modlist file does not remove the mods from single player apparently. I followed the load order for the “Less Building Placement Restrictions” mod.
(For those that do not know, load up the game, and at the main menu click on mods)

I also had a mod that also required the “Sudo Exiles” mod which was missing from my load order. (May or may not be related to the error)
Having same issue. Usually, it happens when encountering npcs whether it be a lot, or a few. Having a little experience in programming with Bethesda games via creation kit, I have had this same issue in fallout 4 when duplicate id’s were in the area of where i was going. It would just shut down the game without a message or anything. I am wondering if this is a similar deal. Feels like Funcom copy pasted a lot of stuff, and forgot to clean up dups. Anyway, I wish they would get this fixed. So tired of crashing when finding a rare thrall only for it to die. Or, lose a rare item cause of it.
My issue was different. Couldn’t even get in a server or single player without crashing during the loading phase. If you crash while in game then thats something totally different.
This has been happening to me since the update reinstalled and nothing event viewer said that some of my crashes are caused by mfperfhelper.dll and sometimes by msmpeg2vdec.dll
I done all the things you done, clean installs of conan, of steam, new AMD drivers, old AMD drivers, checked hardware, everything no other games i play are affected just conan, and the crashes are totally random, sometimes I am just standing doing nothing, running around, or even fighting, just crashes down with no report message to funcom, tho rarely sometimes it has given me the message to send
and yes I installed new windows updates, I got new verisons of those files and still crashes happen
I have the same error and it’s impossible to play and trying to ignore and make windowed mode after a while the game turns you off without any description, the fatal error remains as a window ,
