Bug Description:
After my power went out and I had to restart my PC, I’ve been unable to play. Everytime I press Play the game launches, then immediately gives me a fatal error. I’ve tried verifying my files, reinstalling the game, I initially had mods but then uninstalled them and have been trying with a modless game ever since. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling battle eye, looking for windows and driver updates, but there’s nothing.
Bug Reproduction:
Simply pressing Play on the game launcher produces a fatal error.
I have an update which is a little strange… even though the game gives me a fatal error, it still runs on the background. If I drag the fatal error window to the corner, I can play it without any issues. I have no idea what’s causing this
UPDATE: Please disregard the above. Me being able to play in SP even with the fatal error seems to be a fluke. After that first attempt, the game simply won’t load.

Bug Description: When starting the game, the “Fatal error! The UE4-ConanSandbox Game has chashed and will close” window appears.
Bug Reproduction: After the July 12th update, the error began to appear. When this window appears, the game starts as usual. But if you ignore it, the game will soon crash at a random moment; and if you click “OK”, the game closes. Mods have never been installed. I read similar posts and followed the instructions to reinstall the game, check for Steam client updates, check local files, uninstall and reinstall battleeye. None of this helped.
I’m having the exact same issue, but found no solution yet. My game was running fine until it was forcibly restarted (a minor powe outage), and now I have a fatal error everytime I launch. I’m glad I’m not the only one experiencing this issue, at least

Bug Description:
Constant crashing with the client, more persistent while in the main menu or server browser but will occasionally crash here and there while in-game as well.
I’m happy to report that I’ve been able to fix my issue!
It went off an old steam community post by someone who had a similar issue. They mentioned they were able to fix the problem by deleting their Saved folder, and once I did so the fatal errors stopped. After some testing I found out the issue lies within the Logs folder, and deleting it is enough to make the error go away while keeping your setting intact. It may be that there’s a specific file within the Logs folder that is causing this, but I don’t have the patience to hunt it down, and deleting the folder didn’t seem to cause my game any adverse issue.
I’ve been able to play SP, MP, with and without mods, just like before the fatal errors arised, without a hitch.
You can find your Logs folder in “\Steam\steamapps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Saved”
I sincerely hope this works for everybody else who’s having this issue!
It’s worth noting for anyone else who may suffer from the same problem: before manually deleting any game files, make sure you make a backup copy into a different folder (maybe a different drive), in case you accidentally break something.
For example, if you want to continue the game where you left, don’t permanently delete your game.db file.
