Controller and Stamina while mounted

I connected a PS4 controller to the PC to see how the mounts handle with a controller vs keyboard. I have to say I really enjoy the way it handles with the controller. I did notice an issue with sprinting while on the mount. For those of you that don’t know how the controls work with a controller. You depress the left analog stick to initiate sprint, it must then be depressed again to deactivate sprint or on foot you come to a full stop.

On a mount however even if you come to a full stop the sprint stays active even after regenerating stamina. The only way to deactivate sprint is to depress the left analog stock again. I think that it should be deactivated if you come to a full stop just like it is if you are on foot.

I actually kinda like it, but it doesn’t follow the same mechanic as sprinting on foot so I’m not sure it’s intended.

Hopefully I explained that well and didn’t make anyone head hurt trying to figure out what I am saying.

Reproduce by:

  1. Connect a controller
  2. Initiate sprint
  3. Just stop your mount
  4. Move again (you will see still in sprint mode)

There is a setting for that. Sprint can be toggled or held.

I didn’t change any settings just noticed the difference when I plugged in the controller, On foot is behaving differently then when mounted without adjusting any settings.

Thanks for pointing this out @Wak4863, we’ll bring it up with the developers to determine whether its intentional or not!
