Returned after Post-halloween update and people suddenly cannot connect to my coop local client hosted server. Nothing with my connection has changed, ports are still forwarded, firewall as open as the ■■■■■■ guy. Before people were able to join my local coop server while I stream. Now they all get “Pending connection failure, connection to host has been lost”
I’m able to join on theirs instantly.
I’ve updated the game, verified files, made a new server in case it’s borked because of patch changes same deal.
Is there a connection log for the host that can be looked at? In game event log is not helpful for troubleshooting, can’t tell where in the process the thing bins itself.
Things we’ve tried:
Checking firewalls and ports are open.
Restarting steam, closing game ect, trying again and again.
Joining directly through steam, joining through steam invite from game menu. All same result.
I know all of this is very vague, I’d just like more things to test, I’m usually the guy hosting everything as I have the most open connection, but now it’s just binned itself suddenly with seemingly no change on my end.
If there’s a file somewhere my server(client not dedicated) farts out where I can see what goes wrong with the connection attempt, or if my friend even manages to reach the server at all before being thrown off that’d be very helpful.

Unsure if it’s bug, me, or just everyone else. Specific fix likely impossible, I’m fine with guesswork to try and zero in on it.
