Even logging out and logging back in doesn’t help–all the bookshelves save ONE are empty. Basically, so far as I can tell, you only get books in teh last one you put down.
Seriously, Funcom, wtf. I paid THIRTY DOLLARS for this set, and the bookshelves won’t even fill. And this has been going on since, hmmm…last year?!
I do hope that part of this whole “Age of Bugfixes” y’all were touting is “and we fix the stuff we release on the bazaar and stop pissing off people who want to give us money, but aren’t going to keep doing that if the stuff they pay for doesn’t work.”
(Incidentally–WHY do things like the Well-Stocked Pantry not have storage? They ought to work like a preservation box, dangit. But that’s another topic.)
Yea, it’s a waste of money on these bookshelves from the baz.
They only load about half the time.
The nem book shelf is the same way.
The books iirc render after the bookshelf which is a problem as rendering objects seems to have gotten worse over time.
The game can’t even keep renders saved even after everything is loaded as it seems to degrade even moving across one’s base noticed by the torch gfx being vibrant at first to going low poly as i move about several times in my own base.
Even simply moving thralls and other items in your base can cause the degradation to game resolution/rendering.
This among other outstanding issues needs to make it on the list of priorities.
I am on console which should not make a difference really… if the game was optimized.
This game seriously needs an optimization patch lol.
So here is to hoping!
We spend money on these online only things for them to only work once in awhile..
That’s about as bad as buying a car to only get windows that rolldown after 20 tries then stick again for 30 more(at least there is a chance i can fix those, i can’t fix the game code).
