Dedicated Server Not Working

Bug Description:

Hi, I downloaded the Dedicated Server from Steam and have been using your guys Dedicated Server Launcher with it, I finally got it working yesterday, I and my husband was playing on it all day yesterday with no issues, and now that the game updated and so did the server, it is not working at all now, I updated the server through steam and when I try opening up the launcher it does not show a window, instead, it runs in the background and does nothing, I have to open my Task Manager and close it, can’t join on it or anything, I don’t know what is going on with it, but I think the update broke the Dedicated Server part of it.

Expected Behavior:

I would like a way to fix this please, Thank you.

  1. Emberlight
  2. Accessory Equipment
  3. Barbaric Barber
  4. Samurai Weapon Craft
  5. Ancient Architect
  6. GCam
  7. LTs Brewery
  8. Resource Stack Size+No Weight
  9. LitMan Increased Weight Recompiled
  10. LTs Compass

Steps to Reproduce:

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. Please be as detailed as possible; the more details, the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. I doubled click on “DedicatedServerLauncher1406.exe”
  2. Shows the thinker on the mouse pointer.
  3. Nothing Happens
  4. Tried starting it up again, it tells me that it is already running.
  5. I open my Task Manager and it’s there running.
  6. I start up my game just to see if my server pops up. There was nothing, I even tried connecting through direct connect, nothing.
  7. I force close it in task manager.
  8. Started back up, and does the same thing, no window, just goes straight to background.
  9. Did this 16 maybe more times, nothing.
  10. Even removed mods, nothing.

There is a problem due to the fact that the launcher is processing a log file that may have become heavier than 900MB. after updates

Thank you soooo much, a thousand times over, this fixed my issue and even updated the server. I really appreciate you taking the time to help me. :purple_heart: :purple_heart:

Was having same issue as OP but my log was not larger than 900mb , it was only 333mb. Still though deleting it cleared my issue. Now the server launcher starts right up.
