[Desynced. Logged in and continuously bounced back each time I tried to move in any direction.]

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

1. Log in.
2. Cue techno music.
3. Bounce, bounce, bounce.

Tried relogging, rebooting, verifying file integrity of which none worked. A suggestion by a fellow player (Thanks Karenza ) to remove the bracelet did the trick, thankfully I was able to “E” my bed so I didn’t have a long walk home in the buff with Mr. Winky swinging in the breeze. It was the first time for me but several other players mentioned they’d encountered it in the past.

We’re aware of this issue but it’s proven difficult to reproduce consistently. For now, the temporary workaround is the one you mentioned.
Our team is looking into it.
