are you in single player creative mode? that may alter the building placement limits. on official server i can not seem to place it anyway i try
Oh yes. That too far away message pops up when being not in creative mode.
But I can still place it on top of my character.
Yup - seen a few reports on this so far. Please report it to helpshift as well (I can’t because I’m not going to buy it).

The Bazaar is never available on the Public Beta Test servers.
As far as I know, this item has been tested by our internal QA. I’ve also forwarded all the reports I could find about this issue to the rest of the team for further investigation.
That is proving to be completely fruitless lately. Tavern thralls are still spawning inside foundations all over my base. A problem which had started with the update that was rolled back, and has persisted since. Along with a MOUNTAIN of other bugs which persist. Accountability. Action. … And a FIRM commitment to stop messing up the game. That’s what we want. Insanely overpriced bazaar items that don’t even function isn’t part of the deal.
