Disappearing Transportory Stone

This is on PC running current Windows 10.
Official Server #6109 Isle of Siptah

A transportory Stone build on Flotsam foundation blocks disappeared. The rest of the base is entirely intact. There is noting in the event log that indicates that it decayed. This is second time I lost a transportory stone at this location. I have three other bases that have transportory stones built on flotsam that are older and still exist. This has been reported before some months ago but it seems that the problem has not been fixed.

Maybe someone dropped a bomb on your base that had the teleporter. I used to see the rocks decay. Otherwise, watch the vids for the trap house version that will blow up the floor and teleporter first. That’ll be your decision, overall.

This is a bug on siptah since age of sorcery chapter 1. The only solution is to move where you put the trans stone by like 10 or so foundations from where it’s disappearing. There are specific spots that if you build a stone there on siptah it will randomly vanish with nothing in the log. You just got unlucky and found one of them.

I am on a PvE server. I would not expect another player to be able to damage my base.

If there are known locations where this happens, it seems to me that the devs could reproduce the problem and figure out how to fix it. On the other hand, they might already know the cause of the problem but don’t think it is worth fixing. Bug fixing is a trade off between cost of fixing against inconvenience to the user. I will extend the foundation and see what happens.

Make note of the exact spot for a bug report. I have never seen anyone make a list of them but I know roughly where a couple of them are myself from finding them. I think since it’s not terribly common and has an “easy” workaround they aren’t terribly interested in fixing it…

I put flotsam foundations down in an addition to my base thus moving the location of a new Transportory Stone. We will see of this one disappears or stays. Time will tell.

If it has no stones, it may decay. With stones, it waits to decay until no stones, again. If this loop has improved, I want it working for me. :nerd_face:

I am not sure what you mean by stones. Are you referring to those floating stones one sees after one ignites the Transportory Stone? It was ignited and I was using it to travel to my other bases. I did not extinguish it. This was my fourth base. I don’t see why something I placed on my base with decay without notice and without a record in the event log.

My Transportory Stone disappeared after just three days. The base is intact. Maybe Funcom should assign someone to investigate this problem. If is location depended, one might try to reproduce it on the test server.

There is an entry in know bugs and issues. We probably should stop beating this dead issue. It has been around for a long time. Time to move on.

No you should still be speaking about this. The more attention this gets the more likely they’ll focus on fixing it.
