I’m hoping some folks have encountered this before and know a workaround or a fix. All of my DLC’s are unavailable to me in game. I’m playing on a modded private dedicated server. All of the mods are ones I’ve used previously and had no issues with the DLC I own. When looking up the issue I found a variety of possible solutions none of which have worked for me.
I’ve verified the DLC content shows as purchased in Steam.
I’ve verified the DLC content is active in the game properties and has the checkmark. I’ve even unchecked them and rechecked them just in case. A small download occurred but no dice in fixing the issue.
I’ve done a local file verification to ensure the installation is good. No change.
I checked the launcher and it shows the correct DLC’s as owned.
After doing that, I uninstalled the game and reinstalled the game, verified the above was all proper, still can’t use the DLC content.
I see the feats in game and they are green to me as if I have them, all of them, construction feats, saddles feats, etc.
I am unable to craft anything from the DLC’s I own, whether it’s stuff I craft in my inventory or stuff I craft in benches (saddles as an example).
I played ~1 year ago and had no issues with the DLC being available using these same mods (more even than what we’re using now as we aren’t using EEWA currently). If everyone was having the problem I’d think it was a mod conflict but I’ve verified with each person who has DLC on the server that theirs works. Numerous people have no issues crafting the DLC specific artisan bench, skins, building pieces, etc. I’m not really sure what else I can do at this point. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
@Marcospt Actually this was the correct answer. At least part of it. I went through the filter options a few days ago looking to see if it was something there causing the problem and the DLC content wasn’t available under any of the options. Then I started writing this post. Before actually posting it I wanted to make sure I exhausted all the obvious answers as solutions. I knew one of the recommendations was going to be a reinstall and I had put it off due to having to redownload the game. Once complete I popped back into game and checked to see if the recipes were there. When I didn’t see them I submitted this post. When I read your comment I thought it wouldn’t hurt to at least doublecheck after the reinstall. I looked just now and it was set to ‘None’, the last thing I set it to after looking for the DLC artisan table. I intended to set it to the top option but was in a hurry and didn’t notice I misclicked there since all the base recipes still show. I presumed it would be a complete wipe but it must save some settings. So no, not a stupid question at all Thanks. Unfortunately I don’t know what actually fixed the issue since I probably had it set to that as I went through the bulk of the list. At least I know now that one of those things will correct the issue heh.
@Ragnaguard I had not, I don’t install BattleEye or any similar software, though my next test was going to be in unmodded single player before I saw Marcospt’s suggestion. I appreciate you taking the time though.
