Error log: dedicated server Unhandled Exception: EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION reading address 0x000008f8

Bug Reproduction:

Random crashes that show this log when login to server. No mods. Can provide log if needed

Yes please, include the log, probably best if you upload it to pastebin or controlc or some similar text paste site.
The part you posted literally doesn’t say anything except that it was a memory address access violation, which can happen for many many reasons. Typically the section immediately prior to the crash happening in the logs has some indication of what could’ve happened.

refer to this log where it has fatal error on the last line before server crash.

hi any have you receive my log below
I have noticed that when we remove the building piece for this build (admin spawned mats ) around 25x25, the server will crash, using hammer, or manual removal, same result

Maybe there is a limit on max admin spawn block? This only happend to LARGE build
Here is the video showing the ping spike and eventually will crash with error on log

Thank you for the logs and video. We will send all of this to our team for investigation.

We appreciate your support and patience while we review this matter.

Hey Mayra,

We found the issue after a few testing. Our server has no mod but we have NO stability turn on.
Our large build only has 1 foundation and then all CEILING. So when we tried to remove the piece in the middle (which is not supposed to be there if there is stability) , the game cannot read and render causing crashes. However if you put pillar underneath the ceiling with no stability, this reduces the performance issue. Further video can be provided. We initially thought there is a limit of admin spawned item but turns out to be the stability causing the major issue.

That sounds like a great place to start the investigation. Please send us any additional information and video and we will link it to the original report.

We appreciate your assistance!

Here’s the video for the report! Thanks for your help!
