"Failed to join requested game."

“Failed to join requested game.”

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Download mods for a server
  2. Join server
  3. Game restarts, attempts to join.
  4. Game fails to join requested game. (I am on PC) and it shows a little “A” blurb on the “ok” button.

This is a new issue for me, it cropped up within the last couple weeks, I keep having it (randomly) but usually at lengths of time. If I wait long enough, it seems to go away on its own. Any advice, or an acknowledgment/solution?

A previous user found a fix by running Steam as admin and uninstalling and re-installing Battleye. Source here, but here is what they wrote:

Tried something new. I quit steam. Opened it back up as administrator, then uninstalled Battleeye, reinstalled it, and then launched the game

I had tried both “running as admin”, and “Uninstalling/reinstalling BE” before, but SEPARATELY. So I think the key, here, is to do both; first log in as admin, and then uninstall/reinstall BE.

Waited a while and it sorted itself out for now. I tried setting it to admin, but steam just asked me to restore settings back to un-administrator.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game then rebooted my computer uninstalled then reinstalled battleye then ran steam as admin and manually loaded the proper mod in the proper order for the selected server and upon attempting to login i still recieve the failed to joing requested game. I have also turned of the windows firewall completely uninstalled the antivirus program i had on the computer and port forwarded the conan ports yet still receive the error. I have also tried launching to the wanted server from the steam launcher itself with the same results. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
