I get the same message except it’s line 3448 for me.

have uninstalled and reinstalled the game. still same error

can still log onto testlive and play with no issues

Conan is on my “D”" drive

Thank you for reaching out. We are aware of this issue and the current workaround is to delete:
Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Mods\modlist.txt will guarantee mods are not loaded. Even if you don’t have mods installed anymore, but had them in the past this file could affect your current experience.

Please let us know if the issue persists after performing the suggested steps.

Thanks. Many of our servers users are getting this and as soon as they re-add the mods via the launcher or editing the .txt file the game still crashes on launch

I have the same problem (I think?), the game crashes immediately after the intro videos with a ‘fatal error’ message, whether I choose ‘launch’ or ‘continue’ from the launcher. I tried deleting the mods folder too, and unsubscribing from all mods from Steam, but there was no change.

Rather than going down the deletion route i went on to steam and unsubscribed from all Mods and it seems to have worked

I have the same issue.

Ironically I was able to play for several hours after installing the update. The crashing started around 6 PM eastern time last night.

I have removed the modlist.txt file and it didn’t work.

I play on my own server, with only 3 other people (all friends or family).

I have validated the files in Steam, disabled the 9 top tier mods I use (several of which are represented in the Sorcery update - well done developers!), made sure my bitdefender software is happy with the game, run all manner of tests to confirm that my PC is funtioning normally.

In terms of whether or not the PC I built for myself isn’t up to the task just know that my GPU is an Asus Tuf Gaming RTX3090 OC Edition with 24GB of RAM.

I have sent 1/3 of the crash reports to FunCom because I don’t want anybody to think I’m spamming them.

I don’t know what other information I can provide but feel free to reach out with questions.

At least for me it seems like the Funcom launcher or the game attempts to rejoin the last played server or session with outdated data. This causes the game to reboot endlessly attempting to join with an old most list that no longer exists. Deleting the modlist works for some folks but for me I had to delete the modlist, launch the game and spam cancel when joining my server, then manually joining again. My wife is having the same issue, and I couldn’t solve it how I explained.

Update:
I managed to find another possible solution for those suffering from this issue, launch your game offline or attempt to join someone’s co op session. The game will tell you that you need to restart the game due to a pre selected modlist ( even thought I just deleted the modlist ) then let the game fully restart and join a singleplayer session. That should fix the issue and allow you to play and join your server.

I only play offline mode, and by myself, and I haven’t used any mods. Every mod file for this game is unsubscribed and deleted.

Having same issue i have reinstalled twice, reverified files 6 times, all mods and remove the mod file i even delete the servermodlist. and i still get the fetal error when i get to the final loading screen before game starts at the same time over and over i was playing yesterday and then it just stopped working and crash once i place the magic bench on my private server. any other advice
