Since 1am this morning our server went into a weird state, complaining windows was on the flagged invalid platforms.
[2024-06-14 10:43:28] 1566010 flagged invalid platform (osarch: 64)
it’s in the content logs of the dedicated launcher. Problem is, it won’t let people connect to the server and give them a modmismatch despite all mods being udpated. Redownloaded all the mods still doesn’t work.

The filename size from the start or the root of the path is of concern. More debug messages, even if they are just failed assertions, are desirable to track these bits and byte arrays.
It doesn’t say winnt, win32, win64, wow64… so it complains about a memory model.
I think it is looking for the win64 platform, which is not available in the community edition of the IDE. (unless that has also recently changed/improved)

I’m just an amateur and it is really confusing that this only happens now, combined with ppl unable to join the server despite there was no change at all.
I know this is a lot to ask, but could you give me a simple solution to this kind of problem. Or is this even a problem that can be fixed.
2019 products are good except as found here where it is vague. I’m in no rush to upgrade. I just know win10 is hella borked, and it can’t fix itself.

I’m sorry, I have the same error. Do you know how I could fix it? I’ve already tried everything that Steam told me about their useless advice and in the contentlog folder I have the same problem, only that my downloads drop to 0bts. I’ve tried everything, from the most logical to the strangest and nothing, if the problem is about Windows, how could I fix it? I would appreciate it if you could give me a ray of hope.
edit: I tried downloading to my SSD disk and it downloaded fine, the problem is with the HDD disk. I tried downloading games in epic games on the HDD disk and it downloaded fine, so the problem is with steam on that single disk.

I’m already on that DC and asked around. Nobody has ever seen such a thing but it appears to be ever more frequent. More and more are getting those issues, well it is not really an issue but it is a reason for concern.

hey hi, I was able to solve my problem, I don’t know if it helps you but I’ll tell you anyway, apparently something happened with my drivers so I formatted my PC, I went to the page and downloaded them again and by magic it was solved
Which drivers? That would be a helpful detail, too. Thanks in advance.
