Since the last update, the game has been quite unstable. At first, there were occasional crashes, mainly when opening the inventory.
Now it’s completely random, happening without warning and at any time.
Over the last few days, I’ve had several hours of problem-free play, but also up to three crashes per hour.
I tried everything I could think of
- verifying the game files repeatedly; just today, it crashed four times in 2.5 hours of play, and I’m verifying them for the second time.
- I updated everything I could think of. Not that I don’t normally keep an eye on it, but I went through everything twice just to be sure.
- I tried scanning the disk several times for errors, but nothing.
