I’ve been waiting for days for the bazaar preview thread to be reopened, but it seems the timer for stopping posts keeps resetting … on and on.
What’s going on? We, as a social and attentive community, reported offensive posts from trolls, and now we’re the target of those trolls. They’re apparently issuing unwarranted bans in the thread, repeatedly blocking it from being reopened. Or what else could be the reason for the timer reset?
So not only are we being punished for maintaining order in YOUR forum by reporting antisocial behavior, but we can also no longer help anyone with their bazaar FOMO because not everyone can log in every day, whether due to illness, internet problems, or some other reason.
By doing this, you’re actively supporting the trolls who get the entire thread locked through unwarranted reports, and you’re doubly punishing people who want to do something positive for the community!
Reopen the thread and check the reports! It’s unacceptable that racist and antisocial posts remain online for days even after being reported, while normal and helpful users and threads are blocked!
What should we do? Open a new channel? How long will it take before that one also gets blocked and closed by trolls?
I noticed this. I followed and posted on the daily bazaar screenshot thread and it’s been closed even though I’ve posted almost daily. Then it said it had too many flags but no mods here to actually deal with said flags…

Stop flagging trolls. You (people doing it) are literally the reason it closed. Keep the threads open by simply ignoring the trolls, who feed on reaction.
Sorry but no. Attempting to blame the people who are cleaning up the forums because Funcom are too bloody lazy to do it themselves is blatantly idiotic. It is still Funcom’s fault for NOT banning the trolls and keeping the threads open. Plain and simple. No other attempts at excuses are permissible.
What probably happened was the post consumer troll food who threw a tantrum about a sad bear spammed it up until it got closed, and is likey getting rosy palms self congratulating itself on the most impact it’s ever had in this world.
The easiest solution, due to the automated nature of the forums, is to just block the bad content.
Flagging ends up being more harmful to the thread than the nuisance.
The moderation is dead. Funcom doesnt care about it anymore, or else things would have happened.
Its time to take matters into your own hands and do what you can easily do without having threads auto shut down due to too many flags:
Ignore the trolls. They will never stop. Its really that simple, dont even reply to them. Let them break all the rules you love to defend - and let it go. Funcom will not come to the rescue any more.
