are there any moderators on this forum? if there are, are they blind? how are evident trolls allowed to spam garbage in posts and force their closure? how is a user like “darkpower” allowed to do whatever he/she likes and post unrelevant images in topics like Your - Hopefully! - Regular Black Lotus Bazaar Service Part 2 only to force other users to flag them and have the topic closed? please take actions and take the garbage out. thank you!
Funcom let the community team for Conan Exiles go a while ago AFAIK. The volunteers quit a long time ago I think. So, there actually may be nobody around. But see the positive side of that: It’s a little bit like like being back in the good, old, wild, early internet days. 
And this forum is about a game with merciless violence, lots of blood and nudity, slavery and cannibalism. Personally, I advocate being nice to each other in the forum. But heck, this forum isn’t adressed at people with delicate sensibilities.
Don’t mistake being a barbarian in the game with being a barbarian IRL. Your character owns slaves, kills other people just because and can do whatever you want IN THE GAME.
But the player behind the character lives in a society with rules. If the player even remotely acts like Conan, a mental health facility should be the player’s home IRL.
You aren’t your character. You can’t act like it. Having this very clear in ALL VIDEOGAMES is of capital importance.
People who don’t, should stay clear of videogames and seek qualified help.
This post isn’t directed to anyone specific. I’m speaking in general.

If you mass report the dude, they’ll have to act. Dude really is the biggest annoyance I’ve seen on this forum. Literally starting a crusade against the whole forum just because he’s getting reaction spammed a sad face by someone. He calls everyone dumb and r*tarded but takes a troll seriously. I mean really. It’s sad.
They did not quit, Funcom disbanded the volunteer moderation team. I have no idea why. There were so many avoidable incidents since then that could have been successfully handled by them, darkpower(AKA Arcanist)'s latest rant only being a recent example.
They didn’t quit, Funcom got rid of them. They would have happily stayed and kept going but Funcom made the decision to let them all go. Why? Who the fvck knows. It is not like they were being paid by Funcom, after all they were VOLUNTEERS.
Exactly. Game mechanics are one thing. Real life is something else.
So I completely agree with @MarcosC. If you think that you have act like a “barbarian”, or what you think one is, in real like, then you have some twisted world views. Even Robert E. Howard would be disturbed by you. Take this example from The Tower of the Elephant:
Civilized men are more discourteous than savages because they know they can be impolite without having their skulls split, as a general thing.
Just because your are playing in a game based upon Conan the BARBARIAN does not mean you can act like a complete ■■■■. Which is why the forum needs to have moderation.
This part is true, but also not really true. It is usually the civilized people who live in societies of rules who are the most barbaric in these stories. So acting like Conan would often be the better option.
You are correct on everything you said except this. No one is forcing anyone to spam flag peoples comments which result in topics automatically closing. If you want to keep topics open for proper discussion, instead of flagging posts you think break rules, ignore them and the topic stays open. You can mute people on the forums, and I believe that blocks you from viewing their replies.
Try that instead.
Edit: Yeah, click on the users name to get to their profile, on the right side there is a bell notification symbol with the word “normal” beside it. Click that and then click on “ignored”

Yes. For me, that dude basically doesn’t exist. I don’t see what he writes. Only a small note saying “hidden reply”. I never bother to check.
Muting a person only stops YOU from seeing their post. It is not stop THEM from spreading posts, just as Dark’s insistence on spreading hate speech and transphobic rhetoric which is explicitly against the forums Terms of Service. So as much as you want to talk all this bs, it is NOT a valid solution to the issue no matter how much you want it to be. It only gives them free reign to do EXACTLY want they want to do, spread hateful bigoted garbage all over the forum.

So, it falls to us all to be nice and civil to each other. And not feed the trolls.
Hi Bazaar poster here, I finally just ignored them and the person replying to them in that thread today, I know I shouldn’t have to but it was easier then reporting them with nothing getting done, aswell cleaned up the thread and didnt flag to generate the lock
Welcome to the internet.
There is no forum moderation anymore, its pretty clear. You have a few options:
- continue flagging posts you feel violate the ToS, which will result in potential topic closures
- ignore the trolls
- mute them
Nothing else will change. You will never stop them. They can and will easily make new accounts, as weve seen in the past. If you mute them, you no longer are worried about the toxic stuff they spew, and topics will not be closed from YOU overflagging them.
I offer simple solutions to a common problem, if you want topics to remain open.
And I pointed out the inherent flaw in your “solution” that is not a solution in any way shape or form. The very fact that you are incapable of comprehending that is baffling.

A few people on this forum decided to fk with me. I made genuine posts before but some people decided that I would be the one they fk with. So, now, I am fkn with them all and everybody else by default. They didn’t think that I would fk with them also.
I won’t stop until the fkn forum is GONE or when I get ready to do so. Until then, thank @Harperson for what’s happening.
