So I was doing my first ever run at the fang grinding at a Siptah server, I killed the Panther, Mammoth and Rhino and headed back to the Jhebbal Sag altar to craft the Grand Champion Lure with their hides to fight Ghura Soul-Render.
When I get transported to the area where the bear is, I run up the stairs and die instantly. Why did I die? Apparently someone at Funcom put some out-of-bounds barriers at the stairs. The funny part is that because I “fell through the world”, I lost my inventory including my gear, my weapons, my spare lures and all the fangs I had.
This happened on a Siptah server, I don’t know if this glitch is present on the Exiles Lands but I don’t even care, how can someone at Funcom be this r#tarded to mess this up…
If that kill wall was always there, then why wasn’t it ever fixed?! If the kill wall was just put there for this event rotation, why didn’t they test it beforehand?!
Moderation is welcome to take down the post for the swear word but it doesn’t make the dev team less r#tarded. Stuff like this is the reason I don’t go to Dune, because its made by the same people.

The barrier appears when someone else is fighting this fight at the time and the beast is alive.
My personal experience the last couple days that i play on a LATAM server, was to loose connection on these fights. I wasn’t dead on reconnect, i was in the starting pool alive and kicking. But if i had 3 connection lost in a fight, then in the next reconnecting the beast was no longer there.
Normally getting bestial regalia recipe is 3 hours max on exile lands and less than 2 hours on Siptah, but in this server i did more than 6 hours totally, it was a mess of lag, desync and connection lost unfortunately.
I have done this grind plural times in different servers, but never encounter the misfortune you had.

The kill zone is literally at the middle of the stairs leading to the bear boss, it take the whole width of the stairs, so don’t bother collecting the pelts of the rhino, mammoth and panther
I didnt really thought about it, that someone else could’ve been inside the boss fight. However, it is a very interesting method Funcom uses, just putting a kill zone instead of a invisible wall or just straight up not letting other players inside if someone else is.
The choice of using that specific kill zone, the one they use on under the mesh of the map, is a very curious choice because that one deletes all items the body had. I had the chance to get somewhat close to my body and retrieve my stuff but couldnt because it was destroyed.
I wish you were on Playstation fellow exile, i would jump today in your server to help you recover what you lost and more. If you play agility builds Bestial regalia is a very useful armor piece, so this would be the 1st target.
However, although you’re 1000% correct, these things shouldn’t happen in any case, people shouldn’t loose this freaking unfair way, try to follow @LostBrythunian advice please.
If you haven’t complete your sorcery knowledge, please do, at least until the point that you can recover your body from the circle of power.
Let’s say that these maps may hide more than one pit hole that enters you in a similar state.

Yeah as a longtime Conan player there is no way I will try Dune. Funcom gets zero money from me until they stop behaving like brain-damaged goons every time they have a thought or touch the code.
When I did that event I remember killing the Panther, Mammoth and Rhino. Then making a lure from them and going to the Isle of Dusk at the Bloodmine and summoning a Wearhyena. Kill the Wearhyena and then use his pelt to make the grand champion lure.
I never had any problems on the official server that you’re describing. Are you sure you’re doing that quest correctly?
Yes, I am doing it correctly, I have done it before on other Exile Lands servers, its only my first time doing it on Siptah.
As an update, I went to challenge the bear once again just in case and died again halfway up the stairs on a kill wall. Instead of respawning on the dungeon and forcing my way up again, I respawned on my base and called the body, and it came back empty, confirming my theory that the kill wall is the same Funcom puts under the map to mess with the undermeshers.
I did 11 runs today on a Siptah server to gain just Bestial regalia.
I did 11 runs some days ago on an EL server to get Bestial regalia again, only this server was LATAM full of desync, lags and connection lost.
Although i didn’t stumble to the problem our friend had, that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. Quick reminder that some players cannot progress Liu Fei quest no matter what, although all their clan mates can.
Ofcurce the op has every single right to be furious and i personally have no reason not to believe what happened.
But i ask you @Voc41 , if this would happen to you would you start over again in this server? Probably i wouldn’t even if i have become senseless with loss.
