I got the patch and since then I cannot run the game. I removed every mod, the mod list, and reinstalled the whole game. Same issue. Once I get to the menu it says ‘Connecting to FUNCOM servers’ in a box over the menu but then crashes down to Windows. I manually uninstalled and completely removed the whole file and reinstalled it completely fresh with mods all gone, both in the file and on the workshop. Same.
The game worked just fine until this god-forsaken patch and now I cant get past the menu crash. It is not the mods for sure as I utterly nuked them but I wanna play.
I have been having the same issue for two days and have had no responses on my thread either. I get to the title screen just like you and POOF it just disappears. No mods at all, I uninstalled and re-installed twice. Nothing at all seems to fix it.
Yes everything worked fine before the expansion update. I have over 3,400 hours in the game so it’s not like I haven’t been able to play previously. It’s only after this update that I have not been able to. I have made my own thread and have replied to two other threads about the exact same problem.
I have exactly the same problem after message CONNECTING TO FUNCOM LIVE SERVICES all crashes and I get a fatal error message, cant play online or offline.
I think I am experiencing the same issue. I downloaded Isle of Siptah, disabled all mods, and when I booted up the game, I would get to the NVidea splash screen and get a box saying “Serialization error: A corrupted file has been located” and then bam, crash down to windows with the pop up asking me to send a bug report to funcom. I have been through my pc twice now and completely uninstalled all aspects of the game, reinstalled them, and I get the exact same issue. So not only do I not get to play the new DLC (which I hear is somewhat underwhelming unless you are big into PVP), I can’t play the game at all.
