Game mode: Single-player
Type of issue: Crash
I haven’t played for a month or so and I decided to start a new game. I have zero mods installed, and after creating a new character in a singleplayer campaign, it crashes less than a minute into the game, repeatedly. I’ve hunted around for a solution to this repeated crash problem. Never had it do this before, and all reports of this crash get explained away and conflicts with mods, but I don’t have any. The error that pops up specifically is worded:
"ConanSandbox.exe - Application Error
The instruction at 0xfd351b54 referenced memory at 0x00000000. The memory could not be written.
Click on OK to terminate the program "
Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:
- Start a new Singleplayer Game at “Normal” difficulty
- Create a male character
- Skip the intro dialogue
- Try to walk past the rock with the waterskin on it
- Game freezes, then eventually the screen goes black and an error message pops up.
