Game delivery, will it only be Steam?

Have been watching this game for a while but now we’re closer to launch I notice only Steam’s name is been thrown around. While I don’t dislike Steam, have 1000’s of games and have been an active member for decades, I rarely buy games these days which use it exclusively. Will there be a PC launch on other sites - specifically GOG? If so, is there a timeframe?

For the December 4 launch we’re only going to be launching through Steam on PC. We’re not ruling out that MYZ: Road to Eden may appear on other storefronts (like GOG), but for the foreseeable future it will only be Steam.
