Getting too far away message when trying to advance sorcery

Bug Description:
Trying to upgrade sorcery and it brings up the message too far away.

Bug Reproduction:
Put down a thaumaturgy bench put in the book, sorcerer spell page, rock, and putrid meat. Attempted to craft.

I tried moving the table so nothing was around it for 2 foundations. I tried standing on top of it, each side and behind it… I do use a character editor, but my size is base game 1.0 height.

So i realized its a processing issue. I waited 5 min in front of it and it let me. So im guessing it has to do with the load order.

I placed the bench in an area that was at least 2 tiles high and that fixed the problem.
