Greater elephants are ridiculously weak

All pets in this game are ridiculously weak. But fear not, there is a pet revamp in the works!

But fear not, this is all being worked on! They have been re-balancing pets for a while and it should be finished any day now.

Extensive rebalancing to animal companions:

• Previously weaker companions have received a boost in their stats making them more viable (i.e. gorillas, elephants), while previously stronger companions (i.e. large felines and canines) have had their stats reduced.
• Gorillas and Scorpions have received the biggest boosts to their DPS, with a 233% and a 178% increase respectively.
• Sabretooth and Yakith have received the biggest decrease (-40%).
• The rest of pet companion types has seen changes as well. More detailed stats will come with the final patchnotes.
• This is the first in many steps to rebalance animal companions moving forward to make them a more viable choice.

Here is the link to the post. OK, so granted, this was from 2022!!! SO sure, they have only been working on re-balancing pets for THREE FREAKING YEARS now. But still, should be done ANY DOWN NOW RIGHT?

I would not get my hopes up that any pets will ever be worth using…ever.

In fact, since they reduced the overall HP of all followers and increased the damage output of NPC’s they have made pets damned near worthless. Put them at max follow distance, set them to never engage and let them gain XP while YOU do the killing. Otherwise they will just get 1-2 shot by standard ordinary crocodiles at noob river. That is how worthless most pets are at this point in time.
