Heroic Treasure Ambushers?

Since the Chapter 3 update, has anyone run into the enemies that ambush you when you are carrying a heroic treasure back to base?

Several folks on the server where I play have tried to spawn them, with no success.

Some reported that they don’t spawn anymore here in the forum, too.

Thanks. I’m starting to fear that they have been removed. Has ANYONE encountered them? Hmmm.
