How can I clear this error?

Battleye when trying to update says
Update failed (12, 13) Please check your internet connection and/or firewall.
My internet connection is fine. I put the BEServer_x64 app on the allowed list on the firewall and got the same message. I completely turned off the firewall and same message. I am only running Windows Defender for virus protection. I do not know what else to do at this point.

file verification. or reinstall from scratch. if you still have it, the problem is your security vulnerabilities. someone has manipulated the software so that you can’t play. software like “java”, “microsoft visual c++”, “microsoft framework”.

I said to someone else who mentioned the same problem. But the fact that you have it makes me think it’s spreading. Windows or Battle Eye may have created this situation with an update.

You are the same person :open_mouth:

Sorry. I did not think the first post went through. I will check my security. Thank you.

Checked security, made everything was updated. Battleye does not work on Conan Exiles but it works for War Thunder.

I am guessing by lack of any communication no one at Funcom has any ideas why battleye is not working for conan exiles but is for other games and you are unable to help. I guess I need to move to other games besides Funcomes.

It’s really bad that it’s a problem specific to you. The fact that the topic has a number of not reads shows that only you’re probably the one experiencing this.

This is a problem specific to you. You will have to work on it and solve it and leave the solution to the forum.

If you’re sure the problem is your “battle eye”, that’s good, at least you know what to mess with.

Search the internet for ways to delete “Battle Eye” and delete it. Then delete the Steam download cache. Maybe delete Conan Exiles completely. Then reinstall and “Battle Eye” will be reinstalled from the beginning.

Yes, it’s long and tedious, but it’s a necessary trial and error to learn how to fix the problem.

reddit :

I found a fix and wanted to post it in case anyone runs into a similar situation. Go into the local files for the game and open the battleye folder. Run the Uninstall_Battleye batch file and then launch the Install_Battleye one. When you launch the game for the first time it’ll say you don’t have it installed. Just close that window and launch it again and it should play fine.

This might be what’s causing the problem. “CORSAIR iCUE software”

You’re not the only one experiencing this. Many people have searched and talked about this on the internet. Solutions that worked for some were inadequate for others.
The problem and its solution go back to DNS settings. This is a very annoying situation.

This is a free program that will find and set the fastest DNS servers for your pc.
