When prompted to install for the first time, I closed. When I tried to install it later, I found that it could not be installed.

What sort of error are you getting when trying to install it?
nothing happened, i also tried reinstalling the game
Which way are you trying to install Battleye? Via the Funcom Launcher or some other way?
Most likely steam. I hate Battle eye. They should have went with better security services.
Most likely it is triggering your antivirus or your firewall. Battle Eye is known to do that.
Good point. Might want to check the antivirus event log to see if it has anything useful to tell you. Then, if this turns out to be the case, make an exception to the antivirus software to allow Battleye. Or exclude the Steam folder from automatic checking - some games won’t run either if an antivirus is keeping a persistent eye on them.
Of course, as always, if you don’t know what you’re doing, don’t mess with your antivirus settings.
I didn’t turn on the antivirus software, I clicked “don’t ask me again” when I installed BE for the first time.
