Items picked up are not returned to Hotbar

Bug Description:

Picking up an item when you have a ghost item or an empty slot on your Hotbar should place the item on the Hotbar. However, this works fine for torches, but not any of the new pieces that can be picked up. Also, the map-room also doesn’t return to the ghost-item slot instead they go to your inventory.
So there are a couple of issues:

  1. Building pieces don’t return to the Hotbar.
  2. Map-room don’t return to the Hotbar

If there are more I’ll add them to the list as I can.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create building piece
  2. Place it on your Hotbar
  3. Place it.
  4. Observe: Ghost-item is left behind ( or count is reduced appropriately )
  5. Pickup building piece.
  6. Observe: Item is placed in inventory instead of back on Hotbar.

Can confirm that this is happening on my server as well

They are not returning to wheel on Ps4 either.

Thank you for the report. We’ve notified our team and added the extra info provided by @sestus2009 since it also seems to be happening on consoles.
