Landscaping Foundations

I think there would be a market for landscape foundations, that would give a level building platform, but be more asteticly pleasing and guve the appearance of terrain manipulation. The tops could mimic dirt, gravel and grasses, whule the sides could give an appearance of a brick or cobblestone wall. Tall grass, short, groomed grass for a garden appearance. These could also interact with a garden type foundation, which would allow growing.

There is a Mod for this.

Abit of a shame for Console users…

Would really love waterblocks myself. So I can build pools easier.

Yea, mods…
If only we could link steam accounts to our consoles and not have to rebuy all our packs if we wanted to switch to pc…
Though i don’t trust mod sites and i barely trust steam workshop, but at least it’s on a moderately trusted platform.

Back on topic…
You and the other poster brought up a big issue with this game in terms of lacking features TERRAFORMING!..

I have wanted for a bit now the ability to dig out my own pools and add foundation water blocks that adds water to indoor outdoor areas without having to build on a lake to get an indoor pool.

I don’t for a minute think that it would be easy, but if the engine supports it, please ADD IT! lol

I know in no man’s sky you can terraform ie; dig so it’s nothing new to the genre for sure, though i doubt unfortunately that funcome or tenecent are interested in adding such a cool feature.

Seconded, i am currently looking into how to place the bazaar plants on foundations on console without having it look… weird.

The engine doesn’t support terraforming. If you’re interested in a castle building game that includes terraforming, I recommend Medieval Engineers. It uses a voxel based terrain. It also has a mod for adding water.

The only reason I left it for Conan Exiles is the poor NPC representation. The only NPCs in game are generic barbarians and deer. They spawn wherever you are, but only after you’ve spent some time in that area. So traveling gets pretty lonesome.
