Launcher turns off few seconds after starting

Whenever i try to turn game on, the launcher loading pops up, i can see launcher for half a second then it truns off. I tried many methods and im sick of this. Its the first time something like this happens, i played this game some time ago and there was no problems

Thank you for your report. Please follow the steps to verify your game files:

  1. Open Steam
  2. In Library, click with the right button on the game and select “Properties”
  3. Select the Installed files
  4. Select Verify integrity of game files….

I’m having a similar issue: I launch Conan Exiles from Steam, the Funcom launcher shows and… keeps loading… and loading… and loading… All internet searches say to verify gamefiles and reinstall if it doesn’t fix the issue. Well I’ve done that THREE TIMES and it’s still not properly launching the launcher. Kind of hard to get in game when the launcher itself doesn’t even load.

Are you subscribed to any Mods?
Out dated mods can cause this type of thing.

And reinstalling the game wont help because mods are stored in a separate folder.

If you are using mods, go to workshop, uninstall all mods,
Then go to steam folder userdata / ###### / 440900
And delete the 440900 subfolder this is where mods are kept.

Then if the game works, you can reinstall the mods one at a time until you find the one causing the issue, and remove that one mod.
