It might be the same bug as on Xbox. Recall a corpse, and it is trapped inside the circle of power. Dismantle the circle to get your corpse and loot back.

I learned about it the other day, dismantling foundations under a circle and dismantled the circle itself. A clan member confirmed the circle currently needs to be dismantled. Before that, I lost my stuff including a Last Breath of The Red Mother because I summoned a corpse, and couldn’t see it.

Oh that sucks

I lost my hot/cold weather exploration gear (mistmourn, solspiel, legacy of nordheimers) plus a wine cellar waterskin.

I have lots of the shields but just a couple more helmets and water skins so I’ll have to go start grinding those.

Fortunately, farming that undead Kappa, and farming undead Unnamed City bosses isn’t the most difficult feat in the game.

I just wait for the corpse to decay and the bag of goodies will spawn on top of the Circle. It happened to me yesterday.

Hmmm interesting. I waited and was still around when things decayed and never saw the bag before that.

I had summoned it multiple times as it still let me summon so maybe that was a difference.

Or maybe I was stuck really good in there :slight_smile:

I had logged out and then logged in with a different character to see if I could see anything different. Maybe the bag loot was missed during this switch :frowning:

Ow, yeah, I spent so much blood casting it over and over again, but just once will do the trick :+1:t3:.
But that is just what I do and it has worked every time since October I think: cast, if it is not there just wait naked for the corpse to decay, then hurry and loot the bag :grimacing:.

I’m just glad there’s a workaround.

The summon corpse initially made me relax and not worry about losing stuff in some crazy situation.

So definitely glad there’s a workaround for when summoning corpse breaks!

Does relog show the body?

Relogging didn’t show the body for me. Tried it twice - once with other character.

It let you keep summoning the corpse. Performed ritual each time, used up the blood but then nothing.

As mentioned above the body gets stuck in the circle.
The workaround is to dismantle the circle and body appears.

I haven’t had this happen again so I can’t directly to confirm but others above have confirmed this works. :+1:

Be aware though that sometimes when pulling bracelet your body instantly decays losing everything.
You then get a “you have no body to recall” message and get to see all your loot gone on event log…

Whoa! Wasn’t aware of that issue. I’ve only pulled bracelet a couple times. But I’ll be wary of it now. Thanks for warning.

Np, i found out transporting a temperwright and some other t4 thralls from a sealed thrall wheel building.
Wasnt amused…
