Since I’ve seen countless posts crying about how bad a 20k health Corsair Elite was(who did pretty mid damage to begin with) Lets talk about Lui Feis corrupting curse perk. Once that hits you, it doesn’t go away until you kill yourself. And it procs so fast that you can’t even pop a potion to heal up 99% of the time. It lasts way too long and is extremely busted.
Wait until people figure out the other thrall is like 10x stronger.
Screaming for the nerf bat will only result in a carpet bombing, I mean: nerfing. If you think that Liu Fei is great, use him!
I’ll take it, IDC. Liu Fei is busted with that perk, He only has to be NEAR you. If someone with a Liu Fei runs by your base, you get cursed. And it doesnt go away unless you die.
I have a feeling its not supposed to be permanent..
(but since I play a sorcerer that is permanently maximally corrupted, I dont worry about it myself

ps. I was under impression that he simply emits corruption around himself - in other words its just regular corruption, curable by an entertainer thrall? Isnt this working as intended?
AFAIK, he puts a very weak DoT with just 1 damage on hostile targets around him. Only observed in single player PvE without serious testing, so take that observation with a grain of salt.
I don’t know the DoT’s duration, but it is rather long. Most certainly something to complain about In PvP… sigh
There are much more dangerous things, though. I guess the OP was hit by this once or twice, and now does what happens after that: calling for nerfs. Because if one person hit his foot on a cupboard corner, all corners must be banned from the world.
It’s incurable via all normal methods; dancer, cleansing.
I was told you can log out long enough to disconnect yourself from the server and it will remove it, however, have not had a chance yet to test it myself but was reputable. Otherwise, you have to kill yourself and for those running buffs/sigils, especially sigils, its a huge pita.

Trash take. It is a 1 damage dot, but it hits in less than 1 second intervals, which interupts all healing except bandages, and you cannot use a bandage in a PvP fight.
