Bug Description:
I was putting gold and silver in the furnace and the items disappeared. So I went to my minion and his shield didn’t show up in your inventory, I put another shield in the inventory and the connection dropped.
I went to do other chores at home and when I logged back into conan, my character was naked, without any items. Exactly as if he had died. But I was inside my base, playing PVE, there was no way for another player to kill me or any animal.
Lost legendary items that were with the character like sword, helmet and mace to beat minions.
I don’t understand what happened, but this way there is no way to continue playing Conan.
Items disappearing before a crash is normal, as the game has kind of already crashed, it just doesn’t know it yet.
Dying during a crash also sometimes happens. A lot of times if you die during a crash, the game doesn’t know where to place you and chooses a completely random spawn point like Wine Cellar or Midnight Grove.
Did you check the map to see if you had a grave marker? It will despawn after a half hour, but if the server was down for less than that and you logged back in in time, you should have been able to collect your stuff again.
I was inside my base. In a safe place. There was no way to die.
And when the game crashed, I just went to do something else with my life.
I didn’t try to continue playing in the sequel. I logged in again three hours later. Because it wasn’t supposed to die. There was no way to die just by exchanging items with the minion inside the base.
Protected from animals on a PVE server.
Rejoining the game three hours later, naked and without the legendary items is something that really discourages you to continue playing. As much as other players had offered me free items while I commented on the fact in the game chat. And I think that’s pretty cool, after all, it shows that there is a cooperative community.
It took me hours to get a sword, helmet, armor, it wasn’t minutes.
Not finding these items on my character for no reason, takes away some of the fun and desire to play.
