A easy thing, remove map markers, like those of beds ?
For more lisibility on the map, especially when a Fortress Marker appears at the same location… 
The choice to display or not certain markers.

I think this would be the right option. Hide/display all custom and/or all PoI markers would greatly improve the map’s readability
