Ever since this new patch my character is gone and it is making me start from the beginning. Creating a new character and everything
Offline or online? If you play online you need to return to the same server. Characters aren’t transferable.
online and yes i did go back to the same server. had a lot of weird issues that day with the servers. my internet was fine but kept getting server errors from the game. than boom my character was gone.
Did you solve this problem? I started today, played a little bit, got a lost connection to the server error and when logged back the character is gone.

nope no one has gotten back to me about it and there isnt anything else i can do outside of re-installing the game and hope i dont lose anything.
