When the Alienware Sound Center is running, SWL has no sound.
In order to get sound, I have to exit the Alienware Sound Center (in my System Tray) before starting SWL. I don’t know if this will get fixed, so I thought this workaround might be helpful for anyone else having this problem.
That might be my issue as well. Does it only affect Funcom games for you?
It also affected Blizzard’s Heroes of the Storm and Starcraft 2.
Huh. Weird. I don’t recall having audio issues with SC2, never played HotS, but it’s been a while for playing SC2 for me. But what you said you did worked for me, so thank you.
We had a long post on this awhile back when myself and a few others noticed our sound would work randomly and finally figured out it was the Sound Center. Apparently the issue pre-dated even before then and I am not hopeful for a fix. For now just remember to exit out.
