The tier 5 Vitality perk, “Gluttonous Gains” does not function. Eating food gives no extra advantage after attaining the perk. There is no “healing burst” at the end of the regeneration effect.
Steps on how to reproduce issue:
- With 50 Vitality, get hurt and eat food.
- Observe
Tested with various amount of vitality to observe results: 0, 30, 40-45 and 50.
Tested with various foods: Shredded Roast, Grilled Steak, Cooked Exquisite Meat, Roasted Haunch.
Probably missing the flag on your character that says you have the perk, did you do a yellow lotus potion once, or twice in a row? Did you mash the button on vitality and it went too fast for the server to register that you had the perk maxed for it to set the flag?
Good question. At any rate, bug reported.

Wait, how do you do a yellow lotus potion once in a row? Also I reset and went and slowly clicked vitality one point at a time until max to make sure, and it still doesn’t work.

Good job, I was just suspecting it would help them to know what you were doing before you encountered the bug
